People With Bodies @ Bibo Coffee Co.

The album, pressed on compact disc, runs 34 minutes and features 12 songs. The mood of the record can be summed up by the very first lines: "Optimism, pessimism fighting in my head." The lyric-driven songs ricochet between resilience and self-doubt, building a tracklist made by people with bodies for other people with completely different bodies.

The band, a trio plus a rotating cast of potted plants, has been restlessly pedaling for something like 18 months. In that short time, they've played Treefort Music Fest, released 3 pressings of an EP, including one South American release (Botanical Party Records in Santiago, Chile) and toured Brazil, in addition to releasing a small catalog of videos (both conventional music videos, and short films). And though the band is from Reno, NV, USA, they work to cultivate a global reach, as is apparent in Con Cuerpo's connection to Brazil. The cover art and post-production was done in Porto Alegre, RS.
